People Spend Little Cash On Back Pain Relief

people-spend-little-cash-on-back-pain-reliefPeople have recently been paying more attention to their looks more than their health. This has been a source of concern for the President of the British Osteopathic Association, Mr. Nigel Graham.

A recent survey has shown that people prefer spending their entire salaries on cosmetics and several beauty enhancement routines an just care to ignore a simple medical health problem that hey have been suffering from.

This has all been fuelled up with the peer pressure of looking good, wearing the latest fashion accessories, complete makeover shows on the television, the globalization of cosmetics and cosmetic treatments, and many such factors.

The survey has statistics that an astounding number of people would act promptly over the need of a haircut, or a chip in the nail, as opposed to those who felt a slight sprain in their muscle or joint.

With proven statistics, the survey also claims that a whooping 67% of the population spend more than 50 pounds a month of daily toiletries, and a measly amount of less than 5 percent on their daily dosage of medicines, despite the fact that more that 65 percent of UK’s population has been perpetually experiencing back pains.

This only came to light when an osteopath was appointed for the football team of England to undergo a trauma management and preventive care of injuries treatment.

He says that the job of an osteopath is to determine and treat the cause of the problem that to work out on the symptom. For instance, for a headache, the cause might be something else. Taking headache pills would just give you relief, but will not cure you of the root cause of the problem. And it is not very painful t consult an osteopath an find out once and for all, your source of the problem and try to eradicate that for eternity.

People need to be made aware of their range of options and the best alternative details, like who can do it, where can it be done, and the like.

There are an increasing number of dispensaries and clinics in Britain who have been offering alternative therapies to their patients, and have been providing homeopathic cure for them, and also some complementary medicines.

So, you are not alone in the rat race of back pains. You have with you around 29 million people alone in Britain. It is also proving to be quite expensive to the pocket for the Department of Health, due to absenteeism.
